This shows the upper part of Gasherbrum II. Camp II was behind the rock tower at the foot of the picture, Camp III at the base of the long curved section, and Camp IV just above the top of this curved section. The route to the summit goes along the base of the rocky pyramid and then up the ridge on the right-hand side.
